Trump has spent the last nearly three years enjoying a rather parasitic relationship with Fox News Network. What was once little more than your run-of-the-mill conservative news outlet has now all but turned into a state-run media platform that Donald mercilessly feeds off of while they continue to suffer and die as a result.
Or that is, until now, it seems.
Lately, as these public impeachment hearings continue to look worse and worse for number 45, and he repeatedly makes himself look worse and worse as well, Fox News has seemed to slowly but surely begin to rear back against their once beloved leader.
The relationship between the right-wing media outlet and the United States “president” has been under strain for quite some time now. But Trump and his administration have worked diligently to weed out those who don’t serve his agenda the way he sees fit in an effort to keep one of the only outlets willing to publish his nonsense under his thumb — the apparent ousting of Trump critic Shep Smith being a prime example.

But as time ticks on, it seems that Trump’s plan to cleanse the network of anyone with an opinion isn’t working in his favor after all.
This morning, as Trump was holding a NATO press conference, he found himself brutally fact-checked by a Fox News reporter when he claimed he had no idea where rumors indicative of an NHS sale to American health companies came from.
Fox News White House correspondent John Roberts wasted no time in informing the masses that the rumor was started by none other than Trump himself.
And now it seems that Donald’s favorite network isn’t done chewing him up and spitting him out today.
Reports have been swirling all morning regarding Trump’s blatant denial of a friendship with Prince Andrew — going so far as to claim he doesn’t know the royalty at all amid the Prince’s scandalous history with the deceased child rapist, Jeffrey Epstein.
It’s far from an uncommon tactic for Trump, who regularly denies any association with individuals who are caught in some trouble (or testifying against him) despite a wide-range of proof otherwise.
However, this particular instance is different considering Donald found himself busted on his lie by none other than Fox News themselves — again.
During coverage of Donald’s NATO press conference, the network actually cut away from footage of Trump to display a full-frame photograph of Prince Andrew, Melania, and Trump together at Donald’s Mar-a-Lago resort during a party which was also attended by the center of the scandal, Jeffrey Epstein himself.
“I don’t know Prince Andrew, but it’s a tough story. It’s a very tough story. I don’t know him, no,” Trump said in the footage aired by Fox.
“President Trump has been photographed with Prince Andrew as far back as the year 2000,” the Fox host stated as they cut to the photo in question. “He’s seen here alongside the prince and first lady at his Mar-a-Lago estate. Epstein was also at that party.”
TRUMP: “I don’t know Prince Andrew, but it’s a tough story. It’s a very tough story. I don’t know him, no.”

It’s pretty safe to say that things are falling apart for Trump in every direction. And he knows it’s over for him as soon as he loses Fox News.
