Donald Trump’s penchant for lying is getting noticed by more news networks. Fox News is usually at the “president’s” beck and call, but after the network’s polling data showed Trump’s approval rating taking a beating, the former reality show star has lashed out at the anchors. Fox News has known for some time now that Trump obsessively lies.
One of the most blatant examples started at a South Carolina rally in 2018, when Trump boasted about his controversial border wall by announcing to a crowd of supporters that it is currently under construction, even though it was not. And to this day, Trump is only replacing fencing. Trump could tell his crowd of sycophantic supporters that his big beautiful wall has been completed, and his fans would believe it.
“It’s not ‘build that wall’ anymore,” he yelled to his supporters in S.C. “It’s ‘Continue building that wall.’ Because we’re building it.”
It was just one day later that Trump repeated his claim at the White House, stating:
“We started on the wall. Started up in San Diego and other places. It’s under construction with $1.6 billion dollars, but we’re going to ask for an increase in wall spending so we can finish it quicker.”

Of course, everything he told his fire-breathing supporters was not true at all. There is some new fencing now along the U.S.-Mexico border, but that concrete barrier Trump vowed to build has never come to fruition.
Trump’s lie was so blatant that even Fox News cut off his rally speech.

Trump either knows that construction has not begun on his vanity-wall, and he’s just been lying about it to whip up his base, or he’s insane. Take your pick. There are only two choices in this scenario.
