Fox News Founder Rupert Murdoch Reportedly Said Behind Closed Doors That He Predicts Biden Will Win In A Landslide

Even his closest allies think he is going to get his butt kicked.

Australian media mogul and Ex-CEO of Fox News Network,  Rupert Murdoch, is allegedly telling close associates he thinks Joe Biden will win this coming election, and not just barely, but by a landslide. While Fox News has pretty adamantly supported Trump, Murdoch’s support has a history of not being so concrete.

Murdoch has been vocal about his disgust over Trump’s mishandling of COVID-19, stating that the president is his own worst enemy for not listening to those with advice about how to best handle the pandemic — especially now when the government’s strategy seems to be giving up and telling people to just live with the virus.

While Murdoch may be expressing that Biden will probably win, his own New York tabloid is still running with “Biden Secret E-mails” as its headline. And while he may no longer be the CEO of Fox, his son has taken the helm and their downplaying of the coronavirus has caused serious damage. Rupert Murdoch is described by people within Fox as “semi-retired” but not completely removed from the day-to-day operations of the company, so chances are he still has some sway over the messaging overall.

It is reported that friends of Murdoch say he has never taken Trump seriously and the relationship between him, Trump, and Fox has been one of necessity. This is backed up by some of his tweets leading up to the 2016 election, including encouraging Mike Bloomberg to run and calling Trump an embarrassment.

Allegedly, Murdoch told one associate, “after all that has gone on, people are ready for Sleepy Joe.” — Which is easy to agree with, (less the Trump insult) as even those who were once fans of Trump have grown tired of his antics. It is starting to seem like the only people who are on Trump’s side are his closest allies, which seem to have a loyalty so deep for him that they will debase themselves without question.

Whether you trust Rupert Murdoch or not, this isn’t the first time he has predicted a massive Democratic victory. He told a conference in 2008 that Obama would also have this same kind of landslide. It makes me wonder how the Fox anchors will take it when the person they have lauded loses so terribly and even their old boss knew it was going to happen. I’m sure they will not accept it and complain the election was rigged, though. Poor Tuck and crew.
