Fox News Is Literally Whining That President Biden Didn’t Issue A Response To Will Smith’s Chris Rock Oscars Slap And We Couldn’t Make This Nonsense Up If We Tried

You have GOT to be kidding me...

In case you hadn’t noticed (though, you would pretty much have to be living under a rock or in a deep, dark hole to have not, at this point) the last few days have seen a media cycle chock full of reporting on the instantly infamous Oscars moment, where actor Will Smith stormed the stage and slapped comedian Chris Rock across the face, over a joke Rock made about Smith’s wife, Jada Pinkett Smith, and her alopecia, that has caused her to suffer from severe hair loss.

To say it’s been the “talk of the town” across the isles would be a serious understatement, and suffice it to say, it seems like literally, everyone has a different opinion on the matter from the next person.

To be frank, in my humble opinion, while it’s certainly a lot of drama and uproar, there are currently about a million bigger fish to fry in this country and around the world that are far more important than some bullshit among Hollywood’s elite.

It seems President Joe Biden has a similar opinion on the matter after Today News Africa White House correspondent Simon Ateba recently questioned White House Communications Director Kate Bedingfield about the notorious Oscars slap. Bedingfield responded, “the president was not able to watch the Oscars,” so as such “I don’t have any official comment from him or from the White House on this.”

Apparently, this response sent Fox News into an absolute tailspin.

Today, Fox News anchor Harris Faulkner and Fox host Pete Hegseth tried to publicly rip the president for his lack of a response to the Will Smith/Chris Rock debacle, saying that Biden “refused to comment or condemn” Smith’s physical violence.

“This is now beyond the Oscars, this is a bigger situation now with Will Smith and Chris Rock,” Faulkner declared to viewers and her co-host.

“It’s opened the door on, you know, what do we want our kids to see? Who do we want our society to look like? It is a bigger thing,” she continued, claiming that “The White House now has refused to comment or condemn Will Smith for smacking Chris Rock across the face at the Oscars.”

Faulkner then proceeded to play a clip of yesterday’s exchange between Mr. Ateba and Ms. Bedingfield, which actually just consisted of no condemnation on the matter, because the President had no comment on the matter.

“Meanwhile, Whoopi Goldberg says the academy was likely worried about the optics of punishing Will Smith,” Faulkner adds before rolling a clip of Goldberg opining that race played a role in the Academy’s decision not to remove Smith from the building following the assault, and supporting that decision.

“The White House has had no problem condemning issues of less consequence inside our culture, so clearly they’re copping out on this one,” Hegseth chimed in.
