The fact of the matter is, folks, we are facing the single most important election of our lifetime (and quite possibly ever) in just a few short months. Come November, it is up to us to ensure that Donald J. Trump does not have the pleasure of torturing this nation for another four years.

We’ve seen great presidents come and go, and we’ve seen a handful that we couldn’t wait to see leave. But never in the history of this country have we seen a presidential candidate that we literally don’t think we can survive. But nevertheless, here we are. As each and every passing day gets worse than the one before, our lives are literally on the line.

Frankly, the stakes have never been higher.

As such, we’ve come to a point in this nation where personal relationships with the people in our lives can sometimes take second place to our survival.

For example, “I can’t help if you’re my wife and love Trump. That walking disaster is going to get us all killed.”

And this evening, that’s pretty much the exact approach that George Conway, Trump counselor Kellyanne Conway’s husband, seemed to take.

Now, I’m not sure what the family dynamic is like inside the Conway household. But I’d venture to say it’s a painfully awkward one, given that Kellyanne works for Donald Trump while George has essentially devoted his life to kicking that guy out of the White House and into a jail cell where he belongs.

Nevertheless, it seems that George finds the benefit of a Trump-less America worth the likely countless night spent sleeping on the couch.

This evening, George replied to a tweet from the Center for American Progress president Neera Tanden that reflected polling numbers for Donald Trump and Joe Biden in women versus men.

Unsurprisingly enough, Trump was leading among the men while Biden was pulling strong among women.

“We have 6 months to convince a lot of men that they should listen to women,” Tenden captioned her post.

Upon seeing the tweet, it seemed that George thought it’d be best to remind folks that there’s one woman in particular out there who should not be listened to.

Take a look at his reply:

Oof. Kellyanne’s not going to like that one bit.

Kudos to George for taking one for the team again.

Someone send that guy some divorce attorney contact info so he can get that mess over with already.
