Government Of The US’s Biggest Ally Is Reportedly “Desperate” For Trump To Lose The Election To Joe Biden

This is BAD news for Donnie.

In the public’s eye, UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson is pretty much one of the only allies Donald Trump has left — short of the dictators scattered around the world that Trump reveres and respects and so desperately wants to be just like when he grows up, like Vladimir Putin and Kim Jong Un.

Frankly, it kind of makes sense. Boris Johnson sort of serves as the UK’s slightly watered-down version of their own Mr. Trump.

However, the United Kingdom’s government is whistling a startlingly different tune behind closed doors, according to a report from the Sunday Times.

Evidently, the UK government is privately “desperate” to see Trump take a landslide loss to his Democratic opponent, former Vice President Joe Biden in November.

One Johnson government minister told Times reporter Tim Shipman, “It would make things much easier if Trump doesn’t win re-election.”

Shipman added that “privately, many [others in the government] agree.”

According to Business Insider, who spoke with several officials in the UK government, many of them are anxious to see a Biden victory in the coming months to bring a much-needed and relieving end to the “venal corruption” that is the Trump era.

“A lot of stuff will change if Biden wins,” one senior diplomat who spoke with Insider said. “The venal corruption of the Trump family and the nasty narcissistic aspects of his behavior — all that will go with a different sort of president.”

Biden and Johnson certainly aren’t a match made in heaven, as the presidential frontrunner has publicly opposed Johnson’s Brexit project and gone so far as to refer to the UK Prime Minister as a “clone” of Trump.

However, Trump’s recent and successful bid to force Johnson’s government to cut ties with Huawei has put a rather large strain on the relationship between the two world leaders.

It’s certainly no secret that Donald Trump’s support base is cracking, not only in the United States but all around the world, as well. Everyone is anxious to see the pain and suffering of the Trump era in the rearview window.
