Guy Who Vulgarly Insulted Joe Biden On A Christmas Eve Call With Children Now Whines About The Backlash He Has Received

Let's go, Jared!

Jared Schmeck’s life certainly has changed ever since he made the extremely poor choice on Christmas Eve to ridicule the President after Joe Biden and First Lady Dr. Jill Biden were kind to him and his children during a phone call. Joe and Jill Biden were taking calls from the NORAD Santa tracking service on Christmas Eve when Schmeck, an Oregon resident, electrician, and former police officer, came on the line.

Schmeck ended his phone call with the Bidens with “Let’s go, Brandon,” which is a euphemism for “F*ck Joe Biden,” and it’s a weird line for a self-described Christian to drop on a day that celebrates Jesus Christ’s birthday. And his children were present when he dropped the vulgar phrase. After a backlash, though, Schmeck told The Oregonian that he meant “no disrespect” when he basically told the President and his wife to go f*ck himself on Christmas. Sure, Jared, go with that.

“At the end of the day, I have nothing against Mr. Biden, but I am frustrated because I think he can be doing a better job,” the 35-year-old father of four told the outlet. “I mean no disrespect to him.”

Schmeck claims that he’s not a “Trumper,” but described himself as a “free-thinking American and follower of Jesus Christ,” even after dropping a vulgarity on Christmas, taping it, then proudly slapping it on his YouTube account.

“I thought it would be automated. We just waited on hold, and then they answered,” he said. “And I thought, ‘wow, this is real.’ ”

Jared told Joe and Jill Biden the names of his children, and the President noticed that they both have a son named Hunter.

Jared’s 11-year-old son, Griffin, told the Bidens that he wanted a piano for Christmas. His son Hunter said he wanted a Switch.

Schmeck, kneeling between his sons’ beds and holding his cell phone out so everyone could hear the conversation, explained that Switch is short for Nintendo Switch. Then Schmeck shared that his daughter Piper wanted a Barbie doll airplane, and his 2-year-old daughter Penelope would be happy with whatever gifts that Santa brings. Schmeck asked for a “quiet night.” The President said, “Lucks of luck, dad,” and everyone laughed. So far, it’s going well, right?

“Well, have a Merry Christmas. Have a wonderful Christmas,” the First Lady said.

“I hope you guys have a wonderful Christmas as well,” Schmeck responded and added, “Merry Christmas and Let’s Go, Brandon!”

Schmeck reportedly works for his father’s company, Winema Electric Inc., and the Facebook page appears to be deactivated. That’s probably because Schmeck just had to make Christmas political in front of the entire country. Well done, Jared.

Schmeck called his Brandon remark a “joke” and a reflection of his frustration with President Biden’s policies, including the federal vaccine mandates, inflation, and global supply chain problems that have caused shortages in consumer products, according to the outlet.

“And now I am being attacked for utilizing my freedom of speech,” Schmeck said, adding that he’s been receiving some vague but threatening phone calls since his call with the Bidens.

Of course, there was a backlash over Jared’s bad taste.

“I understand there is a vulgar meaning to ‘Let’s go, Brandon,’ but I’m not that simple-minded, no matter how I feel about him,” Schmeck told the outlet on Christmas morning. “He seems likes he’s a cordial guy. There’s no animosity or anything like that. It was merely just an innocent jest to also express my God-given right to express my frustrations in a joking manner…I love him just like I love any other brother or sister.”
