President Donald Trump claims to love his supporters, but that’s a stone-cold lie, according to radio shock-jock Howard Stern, who has known Trump for decades.
Every time he holds a rally, Trump’s supporters flock to see him as if he’s a deity who has come to their rescue. They believe everything he says, and even when they know he’s lying they still defend him and refuse to abandon him.
But Trump doesn’t feel the same way about his supporters. In fact, Stern says it’s all an act and that Trump privately despises them, although he certainly loves how naive they are.
After all, Trump has been able to fleece his supporters for money over the last several years, which he has funneled into his own businesses from his campaign. Just because he happily takes their money, however, it doesn’t mean Trump would actually associate with them.

“One thing Donald loves is celebrities, he loves the famous,” Stern said during his radio show on SiriusXM. “He loves it. He loves to be in the mix.”
Indeed, the rich and powerful are who Trump wants to associate with, not the salt of the earth people who foolishly think he cares about them.
“The oddity in all of this is the people Trump despises most, love him the most,” Stern said. “The people who are voting for Trump for the most part… he wouldn’t even let them in a f***ing hotel. He’d be disgusted by them. Go to Mar-a-Lago, see if there’s any people who look like you. I’m talking to you in the audience.”
He’s not wrong. Very few of Trump’s supporters could actually afford to stay at Mar-a-Lago or play on the golf course there, nor would they be the “caliber” of people he’d allow membership to. Yet they still think Trump is one of them, which makes Stern hate them just as much as Trump allegedly does.
“I don’t hate Donald,” Stern said. “I hate you for voting for him, for not having intelligence.”
Well, on that measure, Trump doesn’t feel the same. After all, he did say he loves the uneducated. And that’s because they were stupid enough to vote for him — even though he clearly hasn’t helped them since taking office.
