Expect a lot of pearl-clutching over President Joe Biden’s plans to celebrate the Thanksgiving holiday on Nantucket, resuming a longtime family tradition for the first family. It’s not as if Biden is leaving for Cancun amid a weather and power crisis while Americans are home suffering. No, that’s what Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) did earlier this year, and now he’s criticizing Biden for spending time with his family on Thanksgiving.
The Texas Republican responded to the news of Biden’s Thanksgiving plans with the first line of a limerick, apparently unaware of what the rest of the poem is. Because if Cruz was aware of the rest of the limerick in some versions, he would be suggesting that Biden has a big dick.
Cruz tweeted the first line to the “there once was a man from Nantucket” limerick, and it all went downhill from there.
