Iranian Official Appears To Mock Trump After Attack On American Base

This is not good.

The retaliation from Iran that we’ve all been terrified of ever since Trump made the split-second decision to launch an airstrike on a traveling convoy near Baghdad International Airport that killed Quds Force commander Qasem Soleimani is now upon us.

We’ve all known since the moment the airstrike was announced and Trump and his Pentagon took credit for the assassination that this move was nothing more than a political stunt on Trump’s behalf in an attempt to distract from his impeachment proceedings and hopefully lock in the 2020 election for himself.

We’ve known damn good and well that Trump doesn’t have a clue in the world as to what to do when they assuredly struck back.

But it appears we’re going to find out — whether we like it or not.

“This morning, courageous fighters of the IRGC’s Air Force launched a successful operation called Operation Martyr Soleimani, with the code ‘Oh Zahra’ by firing tens of ground-to-ground missiles at the base of the terrorist and invasive U.S. forces named Ain Al Asad,” ISNA, Iran’s state-run news outlet declared.

Per a statement from White House Press Secretary Stephanie Grisham, White House personnel is aware of the attacks against the US base: “We are aware of the reports of attacks on US facilities in Iraq. The President has been briefed and is monitoring the situation closely and consulting with his national security team.”

But it seems that one Iranian official doesn’t give a damn what Donald Trump knows or doesn’t know.

Shortly after Trump’s original airstrike against the country of Iran, Donald tweeted out a photo of the American flag with no caption as reports started to trickle out.

Now it appears that Iranian officials are trolling Trump’s move with an identical one of their own.

Saeed Jalili, whose Twitter bio describes him as “Representative of the Supreme Leader to the Secretary of Supreme National Security Council, Expediency Discernment Council, Member of IRIFR Strategic Council” tweeted a photo of the Iranian flag just moments after the missiles were launched and reports began to circulate — an exact replication of what Trump did when he launched the airstrike.

I don’t know what this man has gotten us into, but I can’t tell you now that it’s not good. It’s not good at all. And this is only just the beginning.
