Ivanka’s Complaints Against Wichita University For Canceling Her Commencement Speech Might Get University President Fired

This is just gross.

Dozens of prominent figures in this nation delivered their virtual commencement addresses to graduating students from coast to coast as we all find our way into a new normal amid the global pandemic that’s still raging against us.

Even former First Lady Michelle Obama gave a virtual speech so lovely we were once again so homesick for the last administration we could barely see straight for days.

However, Donald Trump’s daughter, Ivanka, ultimately didn’t find herself among those to speak directly to a graduating class.

Ivanka was scheduled to deliver a prerecorded commencement address to graduates of Wichita State University, but the event was ultimately canceled by Wichita State president Jay Golden after Ivanka’s daddy used the full force of the United States National Guard, complete with rubber bullets and pepper spray to disperse peaceful protesters so he could take a stroll across the street.

Being the spoiled, waste of a good trust fund, brat that she is, Ivanka had herself quite the little hissy fit over the whole ordeal.

But now it seems that the scorn of Daddy’s little princess has gone a step further after a slew of rich, white dudes also found themselves super upset that one of the Trump’s got exactly what was coming to them.

According to The Wichita Eagle:

Wichita State donors are threatening to cut ties and pull support from the university if the Kansas Board of Regents don’t dump president Jay Golden for canceling Ivanka Trump’s commencement speech.

The flap over cancellation of President Trump’s daughter’s speech to students at the university’s separate trade-school campus threatens a multi-million-dollar relationship with Wichita’s largest private corporation, Koch Industries, according to a former state regent with deep ties to WSU.”

But don’t you worry, President Golden isn’t budging:

I live and I own this decision. But I also want to say to the faculty and staff and students that we are focused on diversity, and we are going to be focused on diversity of our workforce, our student body, but also in regard to diversity of thought. We’re not going to back down.”

Frankly, it’s high time someone stood up to these people.
