It’s certainly undeniable now that things are heating up within the January 6th House Select Committee’s investigation into the infamous, deadly Capitol attack, and will soon be past the point of no return for ex-President Donald Trump.

Prominent panel member and Democratic House Rep. Jamie Raskin has now publicly confirmed that there will, in fact, be public hearings soon to come as their investigation reaches a fever pitch, and promised that those hearings will allow the American people access to bombshell revelations and information from their investigation — some pertaining specifically to the former president’s personal role in inciting the violence.

According to a report from NBC News, the Maryland Democrat and House Select Committee member spoke at a Georgetown University’s Center on Faith and Justice event in Washington and 100 percent confirmed that the panel will be holding public, televised hearings as soon as June and will also be producing a full report on their investigation by summer’s end or early fall.

“The hearings will tell a story that will really blow the roof off the House,” Raskin said.

“No president has ever come close to doing what happened here in terms of trying to organize an inside coup to overthrow an election and bypass the constitutional order,” he went on to explain before adding, “and then also use a violent insurrection made up of domestic violent extremist groups, white nationalist and racist, fascist groups in order to support the coup.”

Raskin went on to add that the House panel will present evidence of clear coordination and planning between Donald J. Trump, members of his innermost circle, and his rabid supporters who violently attacked the Capitol building on that fateful day.

“It’s anybody’s guess what could have happened — martial law, civil war,” the House Select Committee member said. “You know, the beginning of authoritarianism. I want people to pay attention to what’s going on here, because that’s as close to fascism as I ever want my country to come to again.”

“This was not a coup directed at the president,” he stated. “It was a coup directed by the president against the vice president and against the Congress.”

All of the above is certainly unsettling enough when it comes to Donald Trump’s corruption and treasonous acts. But what Raskin said next was the most disturbing thing we’ve heard thus far.

The House panel member explained their suspicions that Secret Service agents for then-Vice President Mike Pence were actually reporting back to then-President Trump’s agents with regard to the VP’s movements during the insurrection. The Committee suspects that the plan was to remove Pence from the Capitol building to allow Trump and his people to corrupt the Electoral College confirmation process as part of Donald’s effort to literally overthrow the election.

“[Pence then] uttered what I think are the six most chilling words of this entire thing I’ve seen so far: ‘I’m not getting in that car,'” Raskin revealed. “He knew exactly what this inside coup they had planned for was going to do.”

That man belongs in prison. Plain and simple.
