Republican House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy has once again made a complete and utter ass out of himself after he launched a nasty, baseless, and frankly downright false attack against President Joe Biden and his entire administration following the recent heinous hostage crisis at a Texas synagogue — ultimately trying to claim that the president’s administration ignored the terrorism and antisemitism aspects of the attack.
However, Biden White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki isn’t about to let him get away with that.
Yesterday afternoon, McCarthy released a nasty statement saying, “Over the past 48 hours, President Biden’s Justice Department has gone from denying the clear and religious, anti-Semitic implications of this attack to now backtracking to what we all already knew to be true. Now as more information becomes available, it only raises more questions,” including, “Why were Biden officials downplaying terrorist attacks within our borders?”
“The Biden administration must answer for how this case has already been mishandled, and must provide a clear strategy on how they plan to continue to investigate the outstanding terror threats,” the House Minority Leader’s statement concluded.

Yesterday evening, Jen Psaki caught wind of Kevin’s disgusting attack against the President and his cabinet and proceeded to do what she does best.
Psaki retweeted a post from a former Obama official who tweeted out a video of President Joe Biden doing precisely what Kevin McCarthy tried to say he didn’t, captioning the clip, “@POTUS makes it crystal clear that the antisemitic attack in Colleyville was an act of terror. Predictably, Kevin McCarthy ignores this fact & pushes Benghazi-like false narratives about Biden’s view. Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me.”
The Biden Press Secretary added her own caption to the retweet, writing, “Video can be inconvenient when attempting to launch a political attack..”

The clip featured a segment of President Biden’s public remarks that he made on Sunday, the very next day following Malik Faisal Akram’s hostage standoff inside the Congregation Beth Israel in Colleyville, Texas, where the suspect took several individuals hostage but was ultimately apprehended with no fatalities later that night.
In his public address, President Biden confirms that he had spoken with the FBI regarding the matter, before going on to directly call the attack an “act of terror” not once, but twice.
“I spoke this morning with the Attorney General and — to get a rundown. He said there’s overwhelming cooperation with the local authorities and the FBI, and they did one hell of a job,” the President stated on Sunday morning. “This was an act of terror. This was an act of terror.”
But nice try, Kevin.
