Jen Psaki Flipped A Fox News Reporter’s Question On Him In The Most Brilliant Way

What a ridiculous question.

There are many reasons why we should be grateful that President Joe Biden is in office instead of Donald J. Trump. One of those reasons is that the twice-impeached one-term president used the Department of Justice to protect him, but now that Trump was sent packing, there is a House committee investigating the Jan. 6 insurrection. And the Justice Department could go after Trump allies that defy recent subpoenas that have been handed down. President Biden was asked what his message is for those who defy subpoenas from the Jan. 6 select committee.

“I hope that the committee goes after them and holds them accountable,” Biden said, then added, “I do, yes” when he was asked whether he thinks those individuals should be prosecuted.

That’s what Peter Doocy took issue with during the White House press briefing. The Fox News reporter suggested that Biden is doing what Trump did. But, Biden wasn’t demanding anything from the Justice Department. He was answering a reporter’s question.

“The president continues to believe that Jan. 6 was one of the darkest days in our democracy,” Psaki said. “He also continues to believe that the Department of Justice has the purview and the independence to make decisions about prosecutions.”

“You say that that is his view, but that is not what he said,” Doocy shot back.

“I just conveyed what his view is, and that is also how he has operated, how he has governed, and how he will continue to govern,” Psaki told Doocy.

Doocy continued to press Psaki on the issue even though she had already answered the question.

“Well, since you give me the opportunity,” Psaki replied, “the former president used his office to incite an insurrection, he put political pressure on senior DOJ officials to propagate lies about the election to the point where they threatened to resign en masse. I think there’s hardly a comparison there.”

Watch:

What a ridiculous question. Biden isn’t sending out mean-tweets directed at officials that aren’t doing his bidding.
