Jen Psaki Rips Lindsey Graham’s Sudden Opposition To Biden Supreme Court Nominee Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson After “He Voted To Support Her Just Recently”: “What Exactly Has Changed?”

Republican South Carolina Senator Lindsey Graham recently made quite the spectacle out of his announcement that he would be voting against the confirmation of President Joe Biden’s Supreme Court nominee Ketanji Brown Jackson — and Jen Psaki wants to know why.

During the Senate Judiciary Committee meeting that took place ahead of the official vote on Judge Jackson’s confirmation, Graham effectively made a complete and utter ass out of himself when he “explained” to the room that, despite the fact that just a few weeks prior he voted in favor of Judge Jackson’s nomination to the D.C. Court of Appeals, he would officially be voting against her confirmation to the Supreme Court. It marks the first and only time, to date, that Senator Graham has opposed a Supreme Court pick in his entire congressional career.

During today’s press briefing, Biden White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki called him out on it.

“What exactly has changed since he voted to support her just recently — relatively recently?” Psaki questioned of the South Carolina GOP lawmaker when one White House reporter asked her about Graham’s opposition to Judge Jackson’s Supreme Court confirmation. “She has the exact same credentials, exact same qualifications.”

“I wouldn’t say the president is spending a lot of time thinking about it, but I would say it’s a good question to pose to Senator Graham,” Jen added when she was questioned as to whether President Biden was “disappointed” in Senator Graham’s decision.

“Her record is overwhelming in its lack of a steady judicial philosophy and a tendency to achieve outcomes in spite of what the law requires or common sense would dictate,” Lindsey Graham attempted to “explain” his decision to oppose Judge Jackson from the Senate floor during the Judiciary Committee meeting ahead of the vote.

Let’s all be honest here, Graham. Your decision doesn’t have shit to do with “judicial philosophy” and we all know it.
