We’ve all read and heard some appalling attacks on First Lady Dr. Jill Biden and President Joe Biden from the right-wing media. Still, Fox News weekend host Rachel Campos-Duffy went too far and said that the First Lady had failed the country by allowing her husband to run for president in 2020. Campos-Duffy also criticized President Biden’s “mental state” in commentary criticizing troops’ exit from Afghanistan. I find that odd since we dealt with an obviously mentally ill man in office for four years, and the Fox News host didn’t say a word. Trump still hasn’t conceded the race he lost over nine months ago after he sustained a massive narcissistic injury, but sure, it’s Biden that’s unwell. I can’t roll my eyes any harder.
“When you look at what’s hurting America; when you look at this lack of leadership, and you wonder, who are the people responsible for putting someone this incompetent and frankly this, you know, mentally frail in this position?” Campos-Duffy said, according to HuffPost.
“I’m sorry, as a political spouse, I can’t help but look at Jill Biden,” she continued. “No one knew better his state of mind than Dr. Jill Biden.”
“And if you ask me, the most patriotic thing Jill Biden could have done was tell her husband ― to love her husband ― and not let him run in this mental state that he’s in,” she concluded. “I think she failed the country as well.”

If the violent insurrection at the U.S. Capitol that the former president incited didn’t clue in Campos-Duffy as to how mentally flawed the twice-impeached one-term president is, then she possibly suffers from a shared psychosis with Trump. Yeah, but Biden has a stutter. Oh, and he’s pretty good at gaffes, but he’s doing far better than the former guy. Projection is all they are good at. That’s it. So, if they blame Dr. Biden for Afghanistan, then we can blame Melania for the coronavirus that has taken over 600,000 American lives. And we can blame Mel for the 5,000 Taliban prisoners her husband released.
