The U.S. House of Representatives will vote Wednesday on whether to impeach Donald Trump on charges that he abused the power of his office and obstructed Congress in its investigation of his dealings with Ukraine. Trump literally admitted to taking part in a quid pro quo while on the White House lawn with cameras rolling. Chief of staff Mick Mulvaney confirmed that later during a bungled interview. To be really clear here while stating the obvious, the articles of impeachment are charging Donald J. Trump and no one else – but not if you hear the “president” tell it.
CNN’s Chief White House Correspondent Jim Acosta tweeted out that Trump was asked, “if he takes any responsibility for the fact that he’s about to be impeached.” Trump, of course, said he takes “zero” responsibility.

Donald Trump abused the vast powers of the presidency for his personal benefit. Donald Trump obstructed justice. Donald Trump directed officials to defy subpoenas. If this “president” was innocent, certainly he would want them to testify in order to exonerate him from the charges. We’re sure Trump will blame Democrats and the media for his failures. Trump is taking “zero” responsibility for his disgraceful actions, and that surprises no one ever.

House Judiciary Chairman Jerry Nadler’s panel wrote that Trump “ignored and injured our national security when he corruptly abused the powers of his office for personal political gain.”
“Taken together, the articles charge that President Trump has placed his personal, political interests above our national security, our free and fair elections and our systems of checks and balances. He has engaged in a pattern of misconduct that will continue if left unchecked,” the judiciary panel’s report stated. “Accordingly, President Trump should be impeached and removed from office.”
This is just pathetic.
Well this is a batshit new letter from Trump to Pelosi.

The buck never stops with this “president,” proving once again that he is unfit for office. It takes a leader to own their faults, misstatements, and misdeeds.
