Well, that was weird.

According to CNN correspondent Kaitlan Collins, Donald Trump “abruptly” ended an interview with 60 Minutes correspondent Leslie Stahl at the White House on Tuesday. There is always some sort of drama around this president, and with no end in sight. We don’t know what this was about, but Trump typically thinks that the world mistreats him.

“Apparently there was some drama while President Trump was taping his 60 Minutes interview today,” Collins tweeted. “He abruptly ended his solo interview after around 45 minutes & did not return for a scheduled walk & talk he was supposed to tape with Pence, @abdallahcnn and I are told by sources.”

Collins continued with a follow-up tweet.

Just after the interview, Trump took to Twitter to lash out at  Stahl for allegedly not wearing a mask at the White House — but the president rarely wears a protective face mask amid the raging pandemic.

Trump is a projectionist. Whatever he accuses others of is typically a confession. And sure, Stahl should have worn a mask, but so should the president of the United States. It’s called leading by example, but that’s not something this president is capable of. Instead, he lashes out at critics when things don’t go his way. Meanwhile, there are only 14 days left until the election, and the president just stormed out of an interview. I’m going to go out on a limb here and suggest that the interview didn’t go down well for him.
