Kansas City Police Department Appears To Troll Trump Over “State Of Kansas” Gaffe

Quick! Someone take Trump's Sharpie away!

Donald Trump likes to claim that he’s the smartest, most knowledgable man to ever live — just a treasure trove of walking, talking information if you ask him. However, if you listen to him, it’s a whole different story. Because the moment he opens that big, fat mouth of his or breaks out those Twitter thumbs, his intelligence level is no longer up for debate. The dude is just stupid as hell.

Now frankly, there is a boatload of things that Donald Trump’s knowledge falls more than a little short on — and how the government of the country he’s supposed to be running works is right up there at the top of the list. But coming in at a strikingly close second would have to be geography.

Honestly, Trump doesn’t seem to know where in the hell he is most of the time, much less where anything else in the world is located. No one will soon forget the Sharpiegate hurricane fiasco of 2019, nor the time that Donnie that Belgium was a city, right after he referred to the country as a “hellhole.”

But the most recent geographical Trump gaffe came on the heels of the Kansas City Chiefs’ Super Bowl win on Sunday.

In an attempt to congratulate the team on the big victory, no doubt in hopes that this time maybe someone would be willing to show up to the White House, Trump took to Twitter to sing the Chiefs’ praises. However, he didn’t actually know where they came from.

In his tweet, Trump commended the team for their badass representation of the state of Kansas, evidently completely oblivious to the fact that the Kansas City Chiefs hail from Kansas City, Missouri.

Of course, he quickly pulled a dirty delete, tried to act as though it never happened, pumped out a new, corrected tweet, and relied on a couple of his handiest sycophants to make some bullshit excuses for him.

But Donnie should know by now — tweets can be deleted, but screenshots last forever.

Everybody caught wind of his fuck up. Quickly. And I do mean everybody. And it didn’t take long at all for the Twittersphere to have their fun with it.

But to take a funny situation and make it downright hilarious, even the Kansas City Police Department chimed in, tweeting at Donald Trump to remind him where they’re from.

“Now that everyone is paying attention to Kansas City, it seems people are confused: We’re from MISSOURI,” the tweet from Kansas City Police read. “Check our profile pic – It’s our Missouri-shaped patch.”

It’s only a matter of time now before Trump grabs his Sharpie and his iPhone and calls Missouri a shithole, too.
