White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany was locked out of her Twitter account on Wednesday for “distribution of hacked material” regarding the phony Hunter Biden story that’s been also blocked on Facebook. The story is fake news, and even if the highly suspicious email at the heart of the story is real, there’s absolutely nothing in it that says Joe Biden met with a Burisma adviser. Nothing in the story adds up, so it’s just not the October surprise Rudy Giuliani thought it was.
Donald Trump was pretty upset over McEnany’s Twitter account being locked down while ranting at his rally in Des Moines, Iowa, last night. Meanwhile, McEnany went on Sean Hannity’s show on Fox News to complain. The Trump administration is angry that it can’t propagate fake news.
“It’s not a temporary blockage,” McEnany told Hannity on Wednesday night. “When I log on to my Twitter account, it says I’m permanently banned. They essentially have me at gunpoint and said unless you delete a news story by the New York Post, I cannot regain access to my account.”

When the White House press secretary attempted to tweet the Post’s fake news story, she got a message from Twitter that said, “Your account has been blocked. We have determined that this account violated the Twitter Rules. Specifically, for: Violating our rules against distribution of hacked material.”
“This is censorship. This is not the American way,” she whined to Hannity, apparently unaware of what censorship means.
She added, “Make no mistake, if they can ban the press secretary of the United States for President Trump, they can ban you, as a citizen, and that is pathetic.”
