“King” Trump “Dethroned” In Blistering Ad From GOP Group And It’s Airing On Fox News

This is PERFECT!

Donald Trump has spent the last several weeks with a “king” complex that’s quickly gotten out of hand as he continues to try to push his power to its limit to get the country opened back up and back to business as usual as soon as humanly possible in an effort to get his economy back on track before his last chance at reelection disappears into thin air — the effects on our health be damned.

But one conservative group just ain’t having it.

In a blistering ad from Republicans for the Rule of Law, the GOP group calls out Trump for his claim of “total” authority over the country.

Trump recently proclaimed, “When somebody’s the president of the United States, the authority is total. And that is the way it’s gonna be. It’s total. And the governors know that,” in regard to his insistence that he could force governors to open their states back up against their wishes and contrary to expert advice.

The ad, a project between Republicans for the Rule of Law and the nonpartisan group Protect Democracy, launched by former Obama administration attorneys, calls the president out on his resounding belief that he’s some sort of king rather than a president in a democracy.

Of course, Trump’s power grab was quickly met with disdain from both sides of the fence, leading him to “soften” his approach by claiming that local governments would be able to work on their own timeline, only to turn around and threaten them once again should their own timeline not mimic his.

In a news release, Carson Putnam, communications chief for Republicans for the Rule of Law said, “His job is to be a leader. Not a king, not a commentator, not a rabble-rouser, but a responsible leader in a time of crisis.”

Protect Democracy policy advocate Justin Vail said, “The president’s authority is not total. There is no debate here.”

What’s the best part of this, you ask?

This blisteringly humiliating ad is airing on none other than Fox & Friends, one of Donald’s most favorite shows.
