Lara Trump Told Hannity It “Was Horrific” That Marjorie Taylor Greene Was Punished By House Vote For Her Rhetoric And Conspiracy Peddling

What a weirdo.

On Thursday, the House of Representatives voted to remove Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (Q-GA) from her committee assignments. The vote was 230-199. 11 Republicans joined all Democrats voting to relieve the QAnon wacko from her committee assignments. It was a bipartisan decision, but it would have been nice to see more Republicans step forward to condemn Greene’s violent rhetoric, and support of executing Democrats, including House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.

And it’s just amazing that Lara Trump, the wife of Donald’s son Eric, would enable a conspiracy theorist such as Greene by calling the move to remove Greene from committees “horrific,” and especially after witnessing the Capitol riots that were encouraged by her father-in-law.

Fox News host Sean Hannity had Lara on his show and began the interview by applauding the House Republican caucus adding more women in the 117th Congress.

Lara Trump agreed but then she shifted the conversation to include the controversial Georgia freshman lawmaker.

“It’s a great thing to see, Sean. We need more of it,” Lara Trump said. “I hope more women on the Republican side run for office. But we had a really incredible 2020 election for Republican women. So kudos to all the ladies out there.”

“You know, I heard you in your talk about this in your open. Why not have the same standard across the board, by the way, for everyone,” she added, before somehow casting Greene as the victim in all of this, saying, “We were talking about the way that Congresswoman Greene has been treated. It’s horrific to see, but it shouldn’t shock anybody, because hypocrisy runs so deep in Washington, D.C.”

Watch:

Lara then connected what she described as the unfair House treatment of Greene to the importance of the upcoming 2022 midterm elections, and there’s been speculation that Lara may be a candidate. Nothing Lara Trump said is surprising really. The GOP has become the party of victimization, after all. And since Marjorie Taylor Greene is now the face of the GOP, even someone as shallow as Lara would probably get support if she runs for office. It’s anything goes for the GOP now. No bar’s too low.
