James Corden, the host of The Late Late Show on CBS, has an eye for certain things. He knows clothes, he knows music, and he knows food — and has had all the guests in the world on his show to discuss all of the above. But being a culture maven like Corden means you don’t just see things in the context of good material for your show. It means you see this stuff all the time.
On Wednesday night’s episode of his show, James pointed out something he noticed about photos of Donald Trump that everyone has seen — but that nobody’s really noticed yet until now.
He brought up one of Trump’s campaign stops in Philadelphia, which happens to be in a state Trump can’t afford to ignore. During his visit there, Trump did what many presidential candidates do: He had himself a heaping helping of the local cuisine, which in Philadelphia, of course, had better be a cheesesteak, at least if you’re on camera.
Of course, Trump couldn’t just pander to the people of Philly without showing it off to the rest of us:

It was at this that Corden revealed his newfound observation:
Is it me, or does Trump only look genuinely happy when he’s posing with food?”
Corden went on to show more pictures of Trump looking similarly enthusiastic about various other foods:
