Lawyers At Firm Used For Trump’s Re-Election Campaign Reportedly Donated $90,000 To Biden, $50 To President

Oof. That's gotta be embarrassing.

It’s certainly no secret that Donald Trump is positively floundering with just 10 short days left until the 2020 presidential election, where polls have long been predicting a landslide loss for America’s biggest embarrassment. And as it turns out, it’s not just support among voters that Donald is struggling with. Multiple recent reports have indicated that Trump’s campaign finances leave a lot to be desired, as his Democratic opponent Joe Biden has apparently outraised him in several states.

And now, thanks to a new analysis, it seems that Donald most definitely can’t depend on some of the lawyers he’s been working with to help pull him out of that financial rut.

Reuters recently conducted the analysis, showing that lawyers working for Jones Day, a law firm that has been provided counsel to Donald Trump’s reelection campaign, donated nearly $90,000 to Democratic nominee and former Vice President Joe Biden’s presidential campaign.

Wondering how much was donated to Trump’s campaign from lawyers with the firm? The analysis can answer that too — a whopping 50 dollars.

Reuters noted that the analysis showed how much money was donated by individuals who work for the law firm that is working with the Trump campaign, not money that was donated by the law firm itself.

The analysis was conducted on more than 120,000 campaign contributions reported by each of the presidential campaigns. Biden was the clear winner when it came to financial contributions from individuals wh self-identified as attorneys as a whole — receiving nearly $29 million in donations from lawyers while Trump only got a paltry in comparison $1.75 million.

Reuters’ report noted that while Trump has garnered more donations from specific firms, the individual attorneys working at those firms have still donated far more to the Biden campaign. Biden reportedly raked in a staggering amount of nearly $360,000 from individual lawyers with a single law firm, while Trump’s biggest haul was just around $11,000.

It truly does seem that it’s all over but the crying for Donald Trump from every conceivable angle.
