Life just got a LOT worse for Donald Trump.

If Donald Trump wasn’t already having a bad day, I can pretty much guarantee he will be once he catches wind of this bombshell news.

According to a recent report from Axios, citing “two sources with direct knowledge” on the matter, none other than ex-President Donald Trump’s own former Attorney General Bill Barr is now deep into negotiations with the January 6th House Select Committee — that is currently investigating the infamous Capitol insurrection as well as Donald Trump’s role in inciting the deadly violence on that fateful day — to deliver his testimony to the panel as a member of the now ex-president’s cabinet in the midst of Trump’s efforts to overturn the 2020 presidential election.

“President Trump’s attorney general Bill Barr is in active discussions with the Jan. 6th investigative committee to appear for a formal transcribed interview,” the Axios report reads, citing inside sources.

One source is who reportedly familiar with the former attorney general’s line of thinking told the publication that Bill Barr is likely to cooperate with the House Panel.

“As Axios previously reported, Trump berated Barr repeatedly to get the Justice Department to declare the 2020 election stolen. Barr refused,” the publication’s report reads. “Barr told Trump in a meeting on December 1, 2020, that his theories about a stolen election were ‘bullsh*t.'”

Back in January of this year, House Rep. Zoe Lofgren revealed that the former Trump-era Justice Department head had spoken with the House Select Committee “more than once.”

Trump has, of course, spent many a day and sleepless night raging and fuming at his former attorney general, attacking and lambasting Barr for refusing to go along with his unhinged efforts to overturn a United States election and essentially engage in a literal coup. In fact, not long ago at all, Trump himself admitted that he literally tried to convince Barr to get himself impeached in the name of his unhinged, baseless, conspiracy theory cause.

I can’t help but wonder if this is Bill Barr’s attempt at revenge?
