Today, South Carolina Senator Lindsey Graham made an appearance on the essentially state-run Fox News Network and made a point to remind us all that he’s a massive piece of flaming garbage that needs to be voted out of office expeditiously lest he finishes off catching this entire country on fire.
During his interview on Fox & Friends, Graham was questioned by the hosts regarding his thoughts on Trump’s video reel aired during the Coronavirus Task Force briefing yesterday, which many Americans say can only be described as a “propaganda video,” and made sure to throw in there that he doesn’t think the American people really deserve the unemployment wages they’re receiving right now as this outbreak continues to grow and put millions out of work indefinitely.
Before diving into his thoughts on Trump’s “everybody loves me” video, the South Carolina Senator dove into a brown-nosing session for the ages when he addressed the president personally from the screen and doted on his response to the coronavirus pandemic.
“The American people understand what you’ve done for them,” Graham stated directly to Trump during the interview. “And this effort to destroy Trump no matter the cost to the country is getting a bit old and it’s pissing a lot of people off.”

“The president has made hard calls well and we’re going to be well below the 100,000 minimum expected [deaths],” the Senator went on. “And it’s due to his leadership and the American people working together.”
It was then that co-host Ainsley Earhardt asked Graham, “What did you think of that video they put together? They put together a timeline of him saying in January, ‘Travel ban.’ Then you had people in the media saying, ‘This is ridiculous, this is going too far.'”
“I thought that was pretty smart on his part,” Earhardt added.
“People are dying right now and this president is doing everything humanly possible to work with anybody that will work with him,” Graham responded. “Do you know when impeachment ended? February 6th we voted to acquit the president and Democratic leaders who are criticizing the president now wanted to extend the trial for weeks to call more witnesses.”
“You’ve got to remember the Democratic Party on February 6th was asking the Senate to stay in session to get more witnesses!” the Senator continued to fuss. “These are the people who are criticizing him.”
It was then that Graham pivoted to disparaging the coronavirus relief benefits given to Americans during this troubling time and suggesting that the benefits would discourage people from returning to work once the pandemic is over.
“Here’s the problem,” he stated. “The unemployment benefits in South Carolina are $23/hour to be unemployed. You’ve got a lot of small businesses trying to keep their employees on the payroll paying $16 and $17/hour. One program is undercutting the other.”
“We’ve got to get that fixed,” he demanded.
If any of you reading this happen to be from South Carolina, let me just remind you that Lindsey Graham seems to want you to starve to death before the government helps you out.
