That was a bad idea, sir.

The whole of the Republican party has made it strikingly clear that they’re only interested in President Joe Biden’s calls for unity among parties if Biden and his administration are doing exactly what they want, when they want. Otherwise, they have absolutely no interest in reaching across party lines or coming to any sort of agreement that would benefit anyone aside from themselves in any conceivable way.

Frankly, it’s every last one of them. But leading the charge of Republican garbage is none other than South Carolina Senator Lindsey Graham. Graham, who actually used to be quite friendly with Biden when the President was a senator himself, has seemingly made it his mission to make Joe Biden’s job a living hell and disparage and criticize him at every given opportunity.

But today, the GOP Congressman stooped to a whole new low when he suggested President Biden’s leadership will soon lead to an attack on American soil akin to the 9/11 tragedy that claimed thousands of American lives.

Unsurprisingly, Graham made this heinous statement during a segment on Fox News, where he complained about the Biden administration’s deadline to withdraw all American troops from Afghanistan no later than September of this year. President Biden has pushed back against the criticism he’s received for the decision but has made it clear that he and his administration are committed to their timeline to bring our troops home.

“Our military told President Biden that if you withdraw all of our forces, al Qaeda and ISIS will come roaring back, Afghanistan would disintegrate into civil war, and we can avoid all of that by having 3,000-5,000 American forces making sure that ISIS and al Qaeda never come back to hurt us,” Graham rattled on Fox. “He rejected that advice. Afghanistan is going to deteriorate pretty rapidly, al Qaeda and ISIS are going to come back, he is paving the way for another 9/11.”

In response to Graham’s disgusting attack, Twitter users immediately served the senator up some fiery clap backs:

Hypocrisy and ignorance aren’t a good look, Lindsey, even on you.

Was the crisis in Afghanistan surrounding the pull out of American Troops Biden's fault or Trump's fault?
