Liz Cheney Reportedly Smacked Jim Jordan’s Hand Away When He Tried To Open The Door For Her During Capitol Attack: “Get Away From Me. You F*cking Did This.”

You can't blame her.

Several news books are out about former President Donald Trump’s time in office, giving us a glimpse into just how amateurish his administration was, and also how insane the twice-impeached one-term president is. The Daily Beast obtained an excerpt from Philip Rucker And Carol Leonnig’s new book, ‘I Alone Can Fix It,’ which describes what happened during the deadly Jan. 6 insurrection as politicians had to take cover from Trump supporters who had stormed the Capitol. Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) noted her conversation with Gen. Mark Milley, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, telling him what took place between her and Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH).

“On Jan. 7, Liz Cheney, then the number three Republican in the House before her subsequent demotion for recognizing what Romney did not, recalled what had happened on Jan. 6.,” the excerpt reads. “Talking with Joint Chief of Staff Chair Mark Milley, who is one of the adults in the room who Leonnig and Rucker depend on in their reporting and cast as something of a hero, Cheney ripped into “That fucking guy Jim Jordan. That son of a bitch… While these maniacs are going through the place, I’m standing in the aisle, and he said, ‘We need to get the ladies away from the aisle. Let me help you.’ I smacked his hand away and told him, ‘Get away from me. You fucking did this.’”

Cheney was removed from her position as the third-ranking House Republican after defiantly arguing that the party should move past Trump and stop repeating his widely debunked claim that a “fraudulent” election cost him the presidency. Jordan was one of the Republicans that blasted Cheney for her remarks in which she rightly held Trump responsible for the attack on our Capitol.

Cheney just outraised her replacement Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-N.Y.) in a second straight fundraising record last quarter, bringing in an impressive $1.88 million from April to June. While I’m not fond of her politics, the woman has brass ovaries and sticks to her principles. In contrast, Jim Jordan is simply a Trump sycophant with issues of his own.
