Local Fox Reporter Goes Rogue On Live TV, Announces She’s Sending Secret Recordings To Right-Wing Watchdog Group, Throws Right-Wingers Into A Frenzy

Well, that was weird.

Conservatives are currently losing their collective minds on Twitter after a local Fox News host in Houston, TX, interrupted a live segment to announce to her bosses and viewers that she has been secretly recording conversations and has plans to hand the recordings over to the right-wing media watchdog group, Project Veritas, that’s been accused of manipulating pieces of media designed specifically to target the Left.

Fox26Houston reporter Ivory Hecker went rogue during a live report, in which she was supposed to be covering power outages throughout the region, to tell her bosses, colleagues, and viewers that she had an announcement to make.

“Before we get to that story, I want to let you the viewers know that [Fox Corporation] has been muzzling me to keep certain information from you, the viewers — and from that, I’m gathering, I’m not the only reporter being subjected to this — I’m going to be releasing some recordings about what goes on behind the scenes at Fox because it applies to you, the viewers,” Hecker said on live-air.

“I found a non-profit journalism group called Project Veritas who’s gonna help put that out tomorrow, so tune in to them,” the local Fox reported added before going on to cover the original heatwave/power outage story.

As I’m sure you’re well aware by now, Conservatives have been highly unhappy with Fox News as of late, so to say that they were in a thrilled frenzy to watch this go down would be an understatement:

Do you think it's ok Jeff Bezos doesn't pay taxes, takes a trip to space and still asks the US taxpayer for $10B?

It seems the Right is all about whistleblowers, so long as they’re not blowing the whistle on Trump, huh?
