Fox Business canceled conspiracy theorist Lou Dobbs’s program following the news that voting-machine company Smartmatic filed a $2.7 billion defamation lawsuit against the network and included Dobbs in the suit along with hosts Maria Bartiromo and Jeanine Pirro. “Fox News Media has canceled “Lou Dobbs Tonight,” the program hosted by television’s staunchest supporter of Donald Trump and of his assertions of voter fraud in the 2020 election, The Times has learned. Dobbs’ program, which airs twice nightly at 5 and 7 p.m. Eastern on the Fox Business Network, will have its final airing Friday, according to a Fox News representative who confirmed the cancellation,” the Los Angeles Times reported.
Dobbs hasn’t said anything publicly yet about being canned, but he has been retweeting up a storm — mainly people who are now upset with Fox. Here are some of the tweets that Dobbs shared:
He’s a Patriot.
He speaks the Truth.
He doesn’t back down.
That’s why @FoxNews had to cancel @LouDobbs. #FOXisFinished pic.twitter.com/nLyx0EYXhZ

Fox News cancels longtime host Lou Dobbs’ show
@LouDobbs is one of the best anchors in the business.
Fox is in a race with itself to the bottom. https://t.co/gvIPhp7ya4

Fox News is desperate to be accepted by people who will not accept them. Cancelling @LouDobbs is not going to satisfy the blood lust of the rage mob.

Because @LouDobbs speaks truth and is a patriot. We will follow Lou, but @FoxNews is a hard pass. https://t.co/VfBHFyH4sy

Canceling @LouDobbs was a grave mistake. Thanks Lou for having me on early in my career for my book and for being a constant professional and patriot.

It makes sense that Trump and Dobbs are pals, after all, both of them were birthers, trying to delegitimize our country’s first Black president by falsely claiming that Obama was born in Kenya. Obama was born in Hawaii, Dobbs got canceled and is getting sued and Trump was evicted from the White House. Karma really is a thing.
