A branch of the famous wax museum, Madame Tussauds, in Berlin, Germany, has made quite the statement just a few days before the American election with their wax sculpture of Donald Trump — The museum is “dumping Trump,” quite literally.
According to a report from People, the employees of the European wax museum loaded the sculpture of the President of the United States into a dumpster full of several trash bags, featuring signs that read things like, “Fake News!” “I love Berlin,” and “You are fired!” — the last being a play of his catchphrase he used during his time on his reality TV show, The Celebrity Apprentice. The display was centered in front of a backdrop of Trump Tower and employees tossed a red MAGA hat in among the bags of garbage.
Reportedly, the wax museum team rolled the Trump figurine off their floor in a garbage-filled dumpster as an alleged “preparatory measure,” in the event that he loses his bid for a second term as President of the United States.
In a statement to Reuters, museum marketing manager Orkide Yalcindag said, “We here at Madame Tussauds Berlin removed Donald Trump’s waxwork as a preparatory measure.”

Thus far, the American branch of Madame Tussauds has not followed suit with the Berlin branch’s approach to dumping the American President.
While Berlin’s display of dumping Donald Trump was symbolic and undeniably cathartic, it may actually be a while before we know with certainty that Trump is, in fact, dumped. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the way we as Americans vote has been starkly different this year — which may result in delayed election results, as mail-in votes are counted up to nine days after Election Day.
However, I have faith in our nation. I have faith that we know and will stand and fight for what’s right. I have faith that Donald Trump’s, both the person and the wax sculpture, days are severely numbered.
