Marine Who Spoke At Trump Rally Reportedly Busted For Lying About Pulling A Baby Over A Wall In Afghanistan Withdrawl

What a sick thing to lie about.

Ex-President Donald Trump recently held a MAGA rally in the state of Georgia, in which he brought a marine up on the stage who claimed to be the famous servicemember seen pulling a baby over a wall at the Kabul airport during the Afghanistan withdrawal.

However, one military spokesperson has broken their silence to claim that it was all a lie — someone in that video did pull a baby over the Kabul airport wall, but it allegedly was not the man that Donald Trump brought on stage at his rally that night.

Lance Cpl. Hunter Clark is already in quite the pickle as he recently found himself under investigation for his participation in the Trump rally in the first place, for taking part in political activities as an active member of the United States military. And now things seem to just be getting worse for him.

“We’re also honored to be joined by one of the Marines who bravely served in Kabul during the withdrawal — and helped evacuate children over… the airport wall. You saw him. He did a great job,” Trump stated during his recent Georgia rally, introducing Clark as a “Handsome guy.”

Clark proceeded to stand on stage and tell the audience, “I am the guy that pulled the baby over the wall and it’s definitely probably one of the greatest things I’ve ever done in my entire life.”

Later on, Trump’s super PAC promoted a Fox News story in a statement, featuring the headline, “Trump invites Marine who pulled baby over Kabul wall onto stage at rally prompting ‘USA!’ chants.”

However, according to a new report from CNN, one spokesman for the 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit is speaking out in a statement: “Regarding the viral photo that began circulating around August 20, 2021, the Marine identified in that particular image was not LCpl Clark.”

“The 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) has initiated a command investigation regarding LCpl Hunter Clark’s attendance at the event last weekend to determine if any DoD policies were violated,” Cochran stated, going on to add, “details pertaining to this incident are not releasable while the investigation is being conducted.”

CNN goes on to note, “It’s not clear if there are other instances of US troops hoisting babies over the wall at the Kabul airport.”

Clark’s mother, Peggy Clark, was reached by CNN via phone call but only stated that her son was “not going to comment” on their fact-check of his baby savior story.

“He’s asked that I not give out any information right now,” Peggy stated. “He can’t do any interviews or speak with anybody right now. I’m sorry. He’s got to go through some things and when he gets the chance and can do that then I’m sure he’ll make a statement.”
