Marjorie Taylor Greene Just Made Us All Nauseous After She Seemingly Hinted At Her Own Potential Presidential Run

Oh, dear God.

We all remember back in grade school when our teachers and guidance counselors would tell us all, then a room full of bright-eyed eight-year-olds, that “Anybody can be president!” Ninety-nine point nine percent of the time, even at 8-years-old, everyone knew that your teacher was just using those words for dramatic effect and a little extra confidence boost to encourage you to turn your math homework in on time.

But nevertheless, here we are in the year 2022, and several people have now taken that well-meaning but silly notion way too far.

In my humble opinion, 2016 served as the turning point when it came to the United States’ presidential standards — when we not only allowed a 1980’s real estate “mogul,” reality TV washup, serial sexual abuser living on his daddy’s die to run for president, we allowed him to win.

Even since then, the notion of who can run for president of the United States, and potentially win no less, has been a slippery downhill slope. And I think we just found the bottom of it.

Frankly, all the Kanye Wests and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnsons are bad enough in their own right (I don’t personally have anything against these individuals, they’re just not presidential material and we all know it) but things have now truly hit rock bottom as none other than the QAnon Queen herself, Marjorie Taylor Greene, is apparently dipping her toes into the pool of possibility that is the sham of the American presidency.

The controversial Georgia House Rep.’s little White House tease came during an appearance with InfoWars’ Alex Jones, who currently seems to be beefing with ex-president Trump right now in case you hadn’t noticed, thanks to Donald’s recent moves to encourage Americans to get vaccinated against COVID-19 as he tries to position himself as the vaccination kingpin ahead of the next election cycle.

During the podcast interview, Greene’s debut appearance on InfoWars no less, Jones declared that Marjorie likely has a better shot at winning the White House than the one-term, twice-impeached former guy does, before going on to heap his praises on her political record.

“Can we get you to run for president in the next few years?” Jones asked Greene.

Marjorie, like the good little Trump Republican she is, gave a laugh in response and stated that she is a “very strong supporter of President Trump.”

But she didn’t just leave off there.

“But in the future, we’ll definitely see what happens, we’ll see what the people think about something like that,” Greene went on to add.

Honestly, I’d love to be able to laugh at the audacity of someone who regularly labels school shootings as fake actually running for president of the United States, much less winning the position. But frankly, these last 6 years or so have left me jaded and concerned. The fact of the matter is, I have no doubt that she could run at this point. And to be painfully honest, I couldn’t say with confidence that she’d lose.

And that, my friends, is the most terrifying thing I do believe I will ever write in my career.
