Mary Trump is once again warning the American people that her uncle’s unhinged efforts maintain control over the Republican party and regain control over the country as a whole will likely never end — and it’s high time we heed her warnings.

Over the weekend, Trump held an event in Houston, TX, as part of his “History Tour” mashup with the disgraced former Fox talking head Bill O’Reilly — during which the ex-president once again claimed that he deployed 10,000 US troops to the Capitol during the infamous, violent January 6th siege by his own reporters.

The very next day, Donald’s niece, 56-year-old psychologist Mary Trump, spoke with MSNBC’s Alex Witt and warned that her uncle was being given the opportunity to “muddy the waters” through the speaking events, and his sights are fully set on becoming the US president for the second time.

“There is no bottom here and he’s very mindful that he is being given an opportunity to continue to muddy the waters and quite honestly rewrite history, which is an incredibly dangerous moment for this country,” Mary said of her uncle Donald Trump. “He’s not doing it for any other reason than that he believes it will allow him to continue to stay the leader of the Republican Party and maybe even regain power in this country.”

Witt went on to question Mary, who holds a Ph.D. in clinical psychology from the Derner Institute of Advanced Psychological Studies at Adelphi University, about Donald Trump’s claim that there was “love in that crowd” during his infamous “Stop the Steal” rally that he held outside the Capitol just hours before the insurrection. Mary was quick to assert that she doesn’t believe her uncle even “understands” the concept of love.

“I think he doesn’t understand what that word means, honestly,” Mary explained. “And I’m not kidding. I really do not believe that Donald Trump understands what love is, what it feels like to love somebody or to be loved.”

“Because nobody who does understand that concept could possibly equate the violence, the vitriol, the racism, the anti-American sentiments that were expressed on January 6th during that violent insurrection could possibly confuse it with anything resembling love.”

Mary went on to take a clear-cut jab at her uncle when she dubbed his “History Tour” with O’Reilly a “failure” — going on to note that the small crowds at the events in a clear signal that her uncle is becoming “increasingly irrelevant.”

“We saw what a miserable failure his rally was with Bill O’Reilly because people had to pay to go and obviously that’s not something a lot of people were willing to do,” Mary stated.

Mary has, of course, been a vehement critic of her own uncle throughout and following his presidency, and even wrote a book titled Too Much and Never Enough: How My Family Created the World’s Most Dangerous Man, which saw a sale of nearly 1 million copies on its first day on the shelves.
