A back and forth has taken place after Meghan McCain released her new book ‘Bad Republican’ in which she told of issues she had with Ivanka Trump and her husband Jared Kushner attending John McCain’s funeral. Meghan McCain said that the couple crashed her father’s funeral. Lindsey Graham, of course, rushed in to defend Javanka.
“She was upset they were there — I understand that, and she has hard feelings, but I know what happened, and nobody showed up uninvited,” Graham said, according to the Washington Post. “I love Meghan McCain, and I understand how stressful all this has been for her, and those who attack her dad will never be forgiven by her.”
Well, Lindsey might “love” Meghan McCain, but it’s an unrequited love. Graham and the late Arizona Senator were once great friends, but Lindsey treated Graham’s memory like dirt after his death. Lindsey failed to defend his old friend from then-President Donald Trump, who disparaged McCain repeatedly even after his death. The twice-impeached one-term president frequently picked on someone who couldn’t defend himself from his vicious attacks. But, the late Senator’s daughter defended her father, and now she’s calling out Graham on Twitter.
“Lindsey Graham may consider himself a member of my family, but he is not and hasn’t been for a very long time,” she tweeted. “He certainly doesn’t speak for me or my life experiences. Full stop. The media should stop treating him like he is an expert on anything McCain related.”

When Trump attacks someone, his flying monkeys target his latest victim. In this case, it was a deceased Republican, and the only thing the former president accomplished was revealing that he’s capable of narcissistic abuse. Congrats, I guess. I’m not too fond of many things about Meghan McCain, but this isn’t one of them.
