As Donald Trump reminded West Point cadets on Saturday to awkward silence, his birthday was on Sunday. But while his sycophantic supporters jumped at the chance to send birthday greetings, Melania Trump snubbed him in favor of wishing the Army a happy birthday instead.
Earlier this year, Trump spent Melania’s birthday having a meltdown on Twitter and he at least pretended to care about his wife by recognizing her special day.
But Trump has repeatedly cheated on his wife with porn stars and models, which gave her all the power to renegotiate their pre-nuptial agreement before she would move to Washington DC in 2017 after Trump unexpectedly won the 2016 Election.
So, when Donald’s birthday arrived, it wasn’t at all surprising that she did not recognize it on Twitter. Instead, she recognized the 245th birthday of the United States Army.
Today, we recognize 245 years of bravery, commitment, skill and answering the call to serve.

When the Obamas were in the White House, they never missed an opportunity to send birthday wishes to each other on Twitter. But this is a different White House. Clearly, Melania and Donald do not have the same happy and healthy relationship that defined the Obama White House.
The way Donald has treated her throughout the course of their marriage, Melania cannot be blamed for being more than a little pissed off at her husband. Again, he carried on an affair with an adult film star just after she had given birth to son Barron. That’s not something any wife forgets. In fact, it’s grounds for divorce.
And given Trump’s inflated ego and thin skin, being snubbed by his wife on his birthday must have particularly stung. But he did get birthday wishes from his daughter-wife Ivanka and his loyal dog Lindsey Graham, so that’s nice.
