Look, I’m gonna cut through the bull here. We’ve been living in this atrocious, dystopian nightmare that has been the Trump administration for nearly four years now, trying our damndest to just survive as we live every day through some crisis or other thanks to the people in charge — constantly on the brink of war, a global deadly pandemic, the mass murder of black men, etc.
To say the very least, our patience for hypocrisy, sanctimony, and tone-deafness is completely depleted. We ain’t here for it.
And while Donald tries to kill this country from the inside out, his wife is winning awards in all of the above.
Her husband tends to simply make a complete and utter fool out of himself in a more obvious way when it comes to his social media tactics. However, Melania usually takes a more subtle approach to getting her jabs in at the people she’s currently miffed with — and evidently, that’s a heady combination of the media and her old pal Stephanie Winston Wolkoff this morning.
Tweeting out an official White House article that she supposedly penned all by herself, the First Lady captioned her post, writing, “When the media chooses to focus on self-serving individuals & salacious gossip instead of work to help our next generation, it needs to be talked about.”

The article was basically a whine-fest about Stephanie Winston Wolkoff and the fact that the media “chose to focus their coverage on pettiness over my positive work.”
Long story short, she’s suuuuuper butthurt that the media and Wolkoff tattled on her. She attacks her former friend as “A person who said she ‘made me’ even though she hardly knew me, and someone who clung to me after my husband won the Presidency.”
“There are plenty of opportunists out there who only care about themselves, and unfortunately seek to self-aggrandize by knowingly taking advantage of my goodwill,” the official White House letter read.
And unsurprisingly, Twitter isn’t here for her bellyaching:
girlfriend give it up ✌🏼

Melania! Now we agree on TWO things! Christmas decorations are stupid. And the media should stop focusing on self-serving individuals (i.e., Donald J. Trump).

Except that the right has been begging the media all week to focus on self serving individuals and salacious gossip!

I think Melanie needs a dictionary. She should start with “hypocrisy” then, once she learns that one, I suggest she move to “irony”.
(In all honesty, though, not sure this Einstein Visa genius is capable of understanding those words. Oh, oops. That’s another one– “honesty”.)— ChairmanOfTheOldSongAndDance⚖️ (@AnotherOldSong) October 16, 2020
You are correct, the media has chosen to focus on a self-serving individual…your husband.

She’s gotta get through Fucking Halloween and Fucking Thanksgiving before she gets into the Fucking Christmas mood

Oh sweetie, you should’ve known that was gonna go over like a ton of bricks. You literally once wore a jacket that read “I don’t really care, do you?”
Apply that here. No one cares.
