Former first lady Melania Trump is reportedly more than happy to leave Washington D.C. behind for the comforts of living in Mar-a-Lago, going to the spa a couple of times per day. “She goes to the spa, has lunch, goes to the spa (again), and has dinner with Donald on the patio,” one person familiar with Melania Trump’s schedule at Mar-a-Lago told CNN. “Rinse and repeat. Every day.” Previously, we reported that Melania was setting up an office at the Florida resort to maintain her Be Best campaign, so I’m not sure if that’s still on her schedule or not. It could interfere with her going to the spa twice per day, after all.
According to the report, Melania has been checking in on the Senate impeachment trial where her husband faces charges of inciting the deadly January 6th insurrection.
“Once (the insurrection) happened, she knew there was nothing to gain for her by speaking out or doing something — so she didn’t do anything,” the former White House official told the outlet.
The outlet reports that “there have been moments of bitterness and regret, say several people with knowledge of Trump’s conversations of late, most notably since Joe Biden’s inauguration and with respect to the activities of her successor, Jill Biden.” Melania isn’t pleased with the positive news coverage Mrs. Biden is getting, even though the former first lady declined to participate in quite a few interviews.

“Disappointed by the way she left Washington, she has been “bitter and chilly” at times toward her husband, upset that her image became collateral damage in his quest to denounce the election and procure a peaceful transfer of power, two of the people familiar with her thinking of late note,” the report states.
It appears that Melania is a bit jealous of Dr. Jill Biden.
“But Trump’s most fervent ire has come from watching Jill Biden kick off her East Wing tenure on nearly the antithesis of the path Trump took,” the report continues. “The attention Biden has been getting has not gone unnoticed by Trump, say those who know her. Though she is lamenting the media focus on her successor, Trump turned down several similar offers from national publications throughout her time as first lady, according to two people who worked closely with her. When presented with offers and asks for participation, it was Trump who would not want to do them.”
The former first lady has also taken notice of the press coverage Jill Biden has garnered. At one time, Melania was fairly popular as first lady. When she left the White House, though, she was the least popular first lady in history.
