Oh, good grief.

Former First Lady Melania Trump has been rather quiet since leaving the White House in a cloud of shame and scandal after the American people officially evicted her and her husband almost a year and a half ago. She’s concocted a few cash grabs and made an appearance at a handful of swanky Mar-a-Lago events over the last few months, but aside from that, she has largely stayed out of the public’s eye.

Until now, anyway.

The former First Lady, whose husband is currently embroiled in more scandal and legal troubles than we can keep up with, sat down for her very first post-White House interview since her husband got them kicked out 15 months ago, and to say that it was absolutely obnoxious would frankly be the understatement of the last year and a half.

Fox News’ Pete Hegseth was bestowed with the “honor” of conducting the ex-First Lady’s first public interview since her White House departure, and suffice it to say, it didn’t take a hot second before Melania Trump took a page right out of her hubby’s playbook and began to launch a nasty attack on the current “leadership” in this country; i.e. President Joe Biden.

Fox has released teaser snippets of the interview on The Five that show the network host questioning Melania Trump on her personal thoughts and feelings about the state of this nation since her husband lost his second run at the White House to Joe Biden.

“So, being out of D.C. and having that time, what do you make of the state of the country right now?” the Fox talking head asked.

Melania remarked on what she described as nationwide and global “suffering” since her husband’s successor took over.

“I think it’s sad to see what’s going on, if you really look deeply into it,” Donald Trump’s wife stated. “I think a lot of people are struggling and suffering and what is going on around the world as well. So it’s very sad to see and I hope it changes fast.”

Hegseth then geared into questioning Melania about the nationwide infant formula shortages. “It’s been in the news, as someone who loves children and has dedicated so much to their betterment, how do you feel when you see a shortage of baby formula and families just struggling to get basic items like that?” the host asked, prompting the former First Lady to talk about how “heartbreaking” she finds the situation.

“It’s heartbreaking to see that they are struggling and the food is not available for children in 21st century in the United States of America,” Melania said.

“Why is it happening?” the Fox host pressed.

“Leadership,” Melania responded.

“Leadership, or lack thereof?” Hegseth doubled down, eliciting a simple “Yeah” out of the former First Lady.

Another teaser clip of the interview featured the Fox host asking Melania Trump about media bias in the country, and questioning how she personally deals with it. He also pressed the ex-First Lady on the sensitive subject of her never nabbing up a Vogue cover throughout Trump’s term, despite her history as a “model.”

“They’re biased and they have likes and dislikes and it’s so obvious,” Melania complained. “And I think American people and everyone sees it. It was their decision and I have much more important things to do and I did in the White House than being on the cover of Vogue.”

The full interview with the former First Lady is set to air on Fox & Friends Weekend tomorrow and an unedited version will be available on Fox Nation on Monday.
