We know good and well that ex-president Donald Trump is not loving his newfound life as an average American citizen these days. Frankly, he’s desperate to his soul for a level of attention and relevancy that he just can’t get outside of the White House, especially when he doesn’t even have access to a decent social media platform to air his daily grievances on. I mean, he was desperate enough to launch the equivalent of a personal blog in an effort to get people to care about what he has to say these days, only to embarrassingly and quietly shut it down just a short month later when people, well, didn’t.
However, when it comes to his wife Melania, it seems she’s adjusting a whole hell of a lot better to her new, quieter life.
To be quite honest, I don’t personally think Melania ever had any desire to be in the White House — she was just following her hubby’s wallet. And it was pretty clear as soon as Donald lost the election that she was checked out of it all on a mental level before they even moved away from Pennsylvania Avenue.
Since the Trump family’s departure from the glitz and glam of Donald’s presidency, Melania hasn’t been much of a presence. Reports quickly indicated that she wasn’t much of a force when they were living at Donnie’s Mar-a-Lago resort, and even recently, Donald himself couldn’t really come up with an answer when asked what his wife was up to these days.
In fact, people were beginning to wonder if the ex-first lady had just dropped off the face of the earth somewhere.

But, alas, she has not.
After what seemed like a long hiatus from the public’s eye, one GOP congresswoman posted a photo of herself with the former first lady to her Twitter at a recent event:
