What an ego.

Stephanie Winston Wolkoff, a former adviser and friend of Melania Trump’s,  who penned the book ‘Melania and Me,’ has given us a glimpse inside the former first lady’s lifestyle. She now told the Hollywood Life podcast that Melania would call the former president after every public event to massage his massive ego, The Independent reports.

“I believe their way of showing affection towards one another is her telling him how wonderful and great he is,” Winston Wolkoff said.

“She was always his first phone call, always, no matter where she was. And the first thing he’d say was: ‘Hey Baby, how’d I do?’ Like he wants her approval,’” she added.

“She tells him how it is, but she also makes sure to elevate him and embrace what he’s doing because that is who she is,” she said of the former first lady.

Winston Wolkoff explained why she authored the book about her former friend.

“Throughout the years, Melania controlled her image, created her fairytale narrative, and remained an enigma, which enabled her to play make-believe,” she said. “I felt it my civic duty to stop protecting her and to unearth the ‘most mysterious First Lady,’ the world has ever known,” she continued.

“By sharing my history with her, I unmasked her true identity and revealed an unvarnished portrait of a woman whose veneer I’ve stripped off, leaving nothing but an ‘unapologetically, skin-deep’ woman,” Winston Wolkoff added.

When Melania publicly smacked away her husband’s hand on several occasions, some people thought there was trouble in paradise. However, Winston Wolkoff claimed that the two are actually in love (I totally do not believe this), and Melania’s reluctance to hold her husband’s hand was more of a distraction from “what’s going on.”

“I didn’t realize that, but when you see their eye contact and the seduction through that gaze, it’s more about that than I think anything else,” she added.

Winston Wolkoff wrote a column for the Daily Beast following the violent insurrection and said “there’s blood” on Melania Trump’s hand for her “silence and inactions.”

When Melania called her husband after each rally, one has to wonder if she phoned him to tell him he’s “wonderful” after the ‘stop the steal’ event in which the former president incited the deadly insurrection.
