Mike Pence Absolutely Rips Donald Trump’s Pathetic Post-Election Legal Team: “Should Have Never Been Let Through the Gate”

Pence isn't holding back anymore.

It looks like former Trump-era Vice President Mike Pence is getting his shots in at his ex-boss while Donald Trump is at his most vulnerable, and the drama is getting a bit thick.

Pence has made it more than crystal clear this week that he certainly hasn’t come to the light, by any stretch of the means, after publicly refusing to cooperate with any requests for his testimony from the January 6th House Select Committee, despite recently claiming he would “consider” testifying if the panel asked him to. But just because Pence isn’t willing to turn against his old boss on a legal level right now doesn’t mean he isn’t more than willing to essentially trash the big guy to Hell and back in an extremely public kind of way.

Trump has had a really tough week, to say the least, after the anticipated “Red Wave” was a whole lot less than successful in the midterm elections, only for his big, official 2024 campaign launch to be a massive bust among the most senior Republicans in the party.

And Pence isn’t doing him any favors.

This week, the former vice president joined CNN’s Jake Tapper for an interview in front of a live audience, where the pair focused almost entirely on the topic of Mike’s relationship with his old boss Donald Trump — and the ex-VP wasted absolutely no time in letting the world know how he feels about Trump’s demeanor, his refusal to accept his election loss, the former president’s unhinged post-election legal team, and even threw in a few hits at a certain drug addict turned pillow salesman.

At one point, Tapper specifically asked Pence about his feelings regarding the Capitol riot, during which the then-VP’s own life was specifically targeted by a mob of his boss’ supporters who were calling for his hanging.

“When I saw the images of people smashing into, ransacking offices, and creating the mayhem that ultimately cost lives, I was filled with a simmering indignation,” Pence answered. “I had served in the Congress for 12 years.”

The former vice president went on to add:

I don’t believe fraud changed the outcome of the election. But the president and the campaign had every right to have those examined in court, but I told the president that once those legal challenges played out, he should simply accept the outcome of the election and move on.

But he was hearing different voices, and frankly, there were some legal experts that were allowed on the White House grounds that should have never been let through the gate.”

Pence’s remark appeared to be a clear-cut jab at the likes of Sidney Powell, Rudy Giuliani, Mike Lindell, the latter of which isn’t an attorney but somehow managed to still score a post-election White House meeting and played a large role in the Big Lie.
