Mitch McConnell Apparently Got His Feelings Hurt After People Called Him Out For Saying The Quiet Part Out Loud Regarding African American Voters; Calls It “Hurtful,” “Offensive,” And “Total Nonsense”

He's pouting now.

Recently, we reported on GOP Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell sticking his foot in his mouth so hard he damn near choked on it during a press briefing regarding the mounting issue of voting rights in the United States — in which he literally stated, and I quote, “The concern is misplaced because if you look at the statistics, African-American voters are voting in just as high a percentage as American voters.”

As noted in that report, I have no way of knowing nor confirming whether Mitch McConnell said what he did with the specific, malicious intent of saying something that was blatantly racist for whatever reason he may or may not have had. However, as I also noted, McConnell and the entirety of the Conservative crowd, thanks to the modern-day Trumpism we now live with, have reached a point in their lives where they no longer fear the repercussions of being a racist piece of garbage. They’ve become comfortable in their hatred and racism. So much so, in fact, that they no longer feel the need to filter the things that come out of their mouths before they say them. Being a racist, saying something racist, or doing something racist is no longer even an afterthought for these people. It’s just not a thought at all anymore. They know damn good and well that if Donald Trump did anything during his four years in power over this nation, he created a safe space for racists to be racist in public again.

However, as comfortable as these individuals have become with their internalized, deeply ingrained racist “values,” it seems the party that calls everyone else “snowflakes” are still resoundingly uncomfortable with being called out on their own garbage.

As you’d expect, following the Kentucky Senator’s “Freudian slip,” the backlash among Americans was instant and plentiful. Ultimately, he was confronted over the distasteful remarks by local KY reporters, as reported by CNN’s Chief Congressional Correspondent Manu Raju.

And wouldn’t you know, the Senate Minority Leader immediately defaulted to defending the nasty things he said, and letting everyone know that the accusations of racism really hurt his fragile feelings.

“I’ve never been accused of this kind of thing before,” Raju reports McConnell responding to the confrontation over his remarks. “It’s hurtful, it’s offensive and it’s total nonsense.”

Ultimately, the KY senator said his comment was merely an “inadvertent omission” and told local reporters that he simply forgot to include the word “all.”

However, as a born, bred, and raised Kentuckian myself, I can say with absolute certainty that this is far from the first time Mitch McConnell has been accused of being a racist piece of garbage. Hell, I’ve made the assertion myself many times. Nor is it the first he’s been a racist piece of garbage.
