Trump is going to LOSE IT.

Well, it seems the mounting drama between ex-President Donald Trump and Republican House Rep. Mo Brooks has finally reached a nasty fever pitch, and the spectacle that the two GOPers are making today is frankly worse than what you’d expect to find in a middle school full of hormonal preteens.

Today, Donald Trump proved that his immaturity knows no limits when he released an unhinged statement this morning, in which he officially dumped Mo Brooks, who’s currently running for reelection in the upcoming race, and rescinded his prior official endorsement of the Mo Brooks campaign for US Senate. Brooks’ poll numbers have already been floundering lately and Trump officially blamed the breakup on a rally he participated in with the GOP senator, in which Brooks publicly suggested that the Republican Party desperately needs to move on from the 2020 presidential election, the very same Big Lie that Donald Trump continues to cling to.

To be frank, pretty much everyone knew this break-up was well on his way for the past several days, and Mo has been the subject of quite a bit of mockery over the fact that he just could not seem to get himself back into Donald Trump’s good graces.

But now it seems that the Alabama GOP lawmaker has had his fill of the whole mess and he’s firing back at the ex-president with both barrels.

In a statement from Brooks, obtained by NBC’s Allan Smith, the Republican lawmaker who just lost his Trump endorsement went full-on scorched earth on the one-term, twice-impeached former guy who still can’t get over his election delusions.

Mo publicly lambasted Trump for falling prey to a manipulation “ploy” by Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell and goes on to double-down on his calls for the GOP to move the hell on from 2020 already, before he flat out calls Trump out in the dirtiest kind of way, claiming, “Trump asked me to rescind the 2020 elections, immediately remove Joe Biden from the White House, immediately put President Trump back in the White House, and hold a new special election for the presidency.”

Brooks asserts in his fuming statement that he “repeatedly” told Donald Trump that what he was asking for simply was not possible.

Take a look at the complete statement from Brooks:

It’s disappointing that, just like in 2017, President Trump lets Mitch McConnell manipulate him again. Every single negative TV ad against our campaign has come from McConnell and his allies. I wish President Trump wouldn’t fall for McConnell’s ploys, but, once again, he has.

I have not changed. I am the only proven America First candidate in this Senate race. I am the only candidate who fought voter fraud and election theft when it counted, between November 3 and January 6.

I repeat what has prompted President Trump’s ire. The only legal way America can prevent 2020’s election debacle is for patriotic Americans to focus on and win the 2022 and 2024 elections so that we have the power to enact laws that give us honest and accurate elections.

President Trump asked me to rescind the 2020 elections, immediately remove Joe Biden from the White House, immediately put President Trump back in the White House, and hold a new special election for the presidency. As a lawyer, I’ve repeatedly advised President Trump that January 6 was the final election contest verdict and neither the U.S. Constitution nor the U.S. Code permit what President Trump asks. Period.

I’ve told President Trump the truth knowing full well that it might cause President Trump to rescind his endorsement. But I took a sworn oath to defend and protect the U.S. Constitution. I honor my oath. That is the way I am. I break my sworn oath for no man.

I’m still the most conservative candidate in the race. Katie Britt’s campaign is supported and funded by McConnell allies, and she’s still a high taxing, open borders, cheap foreign labor, Chamber of Commerce lobbyist.

There’s only one conservative option in this race, and I am confident that the people of Alabama will see that on Election Day.”

I think people are getting fed up to the gills with being Donald Trump’s doormat, endorsement or no endorsement.
