There’s simply no denying that the Biden presidency has been a desperately needed breath of fresh air for this country in so many different ways.
Just in his first week, Biden dug into the mountain of disastrous messes he had in front of him, dismantling the damage done by the Trump administration and doing everything he can to build back better. This country now has an air of hope and optimism that many of us never thought we’d see or feel again. To say that President Joe Biden is the antithesis to President Donald Trump in every way would be the understatement of the century.
However, it’s not just his professional/political life that soars in comparison to his predecessor’s. Biden’s personal life is night and day compared to Trump’s as well — especially when it comes to his relationship with his wife.
Over the four years that Donald and Melania were in the spotlight of the presidency, we witnessed the cracks in their relationship more than once. We saw the numerous times Melania was less than eager to hold her husband’s hand, often swatting away his advances. We saw the lack of enthusiasm written all over her face at various events. We read the multiple reports whispering of divorce and a Melania that was tired of life inside the White House. And we all saw the way she looked at Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.

To say the least, the pair never came across as a happy, healthy couple.
But the Bidens… Oh, the Bidens.
Joe and Jill have been anything but shy with their deep, true love for each other, even with the spotlight of the presidency shining brightly on them. This much was clear as crystal recently when Joe was preparing to depart on Marine One for the first time as President today to visit wounded soldiers at Walter Reed. Before President Biden left, Jill walked him out of the White House and sincerely kissed him goodbye before he boarded the helicopter.
Something tells me Melania only breathed a sigh of relief every time her husband got on a plane to anywhere away from her.
