As I’m sure you expected, at least I know I sure did, tonight’s first round of official presidential debates teeing up the upcoming election n November has pretty much been chock full of nothing but lie after lie from the bottomless abyss that is the current commander-in-chief’s mouth.
The entire night has been nothing but Trump screeching at the top of his voice, refusing to follow the rules, talking over both the moderated Chris Wallace and his opponent Joe Biden, and spewing falsehood after falsehood at every given opportunity.
Seriously, I would hate to be an official fact-checker tonight because I would venture to say that their keyboards are smoking right about now.
However, when it comes to Trump, sometimes it doesn’t even take a professional fact-checker to call him out on his bullshit. Every once in a while, he’ll tell a blatant lie about a specific individual, and said individual will take the fact-checking upon themselves.

Tonight was one of those times.
During the debate, Donald attempted to engage in what I can only describe as a pissing match with former Vice President and Democratic nominee Joe Biden in regard to the support from various police forces that Trump allegedly has that Biden doesn’t.
In the process of that particular unhinged rant, Trump publicly claimed to have the support of the “Portland Sherriff.”
However, Mike Reese, who’s Twitter account describes him as the sheriff of Multnomah County, begged to differ, writing on his Twitter page amid the presidential debates, “In tonight’s presidential debate the President said the “Portland Sheriff” supports him. As the Multnomah County Sheriff I have never supported Donald Trump and will never support him.”

Just a tip, Trump. If you’re going to lie, at least make them vague. Because people are going to call you on your shit every single time.
