House Speaker Nancy Pelosi wasn’t taking any shit from a Sinclair TV reporter on Thursday at the end of a press conference when he asked whether Pelosi is pursuing impeachment because she hates Donald Trump. The reporter, James Rosen, by the way, left Fox News after claims by multiple women of sexual harassment.
Just after Pelosi announced articles of impeachment would be drawn up, she explained, “This has absolutely nothing to do with politics. It isn’t about politics, partisanship, Democrats, and Republicans … it’s about the Constitution of the United States. The oath of office we take.”
As Pelosi was about to end her weekly news conference, Rosen blurted out, “Do you hate the President, Mrs. Speaker?”
The House Speaker wasn’t having any of it as she then walked back to the microphone, and said that although she believes Trump is a “coward,” and “cruel,” she “doesn’t hate anyone.”

“I think this President is a coward when it comes to helping our kids who are afraid of gun violence,” she said. “I think that he is cruel when he doesn’t deal with helping our Dreamers, of which we are very proud of. I think he is in denial about the climate crisis. However, that’s about the election.”
“This is about the Constitution of the United States and the facts that lead to the President’s violation of his oath of office,” she added. “And as a Catholic, I resent your using the word ‘hate’ in a sentence that addresses me. I don’t hate anyone.”
“So don’t mess with me when it comes to words like that,” Pelosi said before walking off the podium.

Now, I’ve literally been in a tiger’s cage, played soccer with a snow leopard, and jumped out of perfectly good airplanes, but I would never, ever, want to face off with Pelosi after asking a dumbshit question like Rosen just did. She’s a motherfucking badass, that’s why, and she will eat you alive, chew up your face, then use your tongue to polish her shoes if you imply that this impeachment isn’t a serious issue. And she’ll do all of that while calmly sipping a cup of tea.
