Since learning of Donald Trump’s COVID-19 diagnosis less than a week ago, Americans and Democrats in Congress alike have been seriously concerned about the ramifications this will have on Trump’s already shaky mental health — most specifically, the side effects of the various, some controversial, medications and treatments he’s received in an effort to combat the potentially fatal outcome of the illness.

As we’re all well aware, part of the president’s treatment consisted of extremely powerful steroids that have very unflattering adverse side effects — including but not limited to a grandiose demeanor, irritability, angry outburst, inability to moderate one’s emotions properly, and increased agitation, anxiety, and depression.

All of the above is bad enough on your average Joe. But when you give these sorts of medications to a guy that already has serious issues in those departments on a good day AND has access to the nuclear codes, well, you got a problem. And apparently, it’s one that Congress simply can’t ignore.

We’ve watched in collective horror these past few days as Donald Trump has effectively shown his ass from every angle all over Twitter and again during a Fox News interview this morning. And House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, during her press briefing today, seemed to imply that Trump’s run of nonsense may be coming to an end.

In speaking about the president and his recent behavior, Pelosi stated to the press, “Tomorrow, by the way, tomorrow, come here tomorrow. We’re going to be talking about the 25th Amendment.”

The 25th Ammendment is as follows:

In Case of the Removal of the President from Office, or of his Death, Resignation, or Inability to discharge the Powers and Duties of the said Office, the Same shall devolve on the Vice President…”

In short, it means if Trump is incapable of carrying out his duties as President of the United States, then the gig goes to Mike Pence. And, let’s face it… Look around you. It’s not going well.

Now, we have no way of knowing just what the House Speaker will have to say about the 25th Ammendment tomorrow. However, I can say with almost 100 percent certainty that Donald Trump is a nervous little boy right now.
