Trump has GOT to go!

As we’re all painfully aware at this point, Donald Trump’s already shaky mental health seems to be teetering on the precipice of true and literal disastrous after his stint in Walter Reed Medical Center due to a coronavirus infection, during which he received copious amounts of very strong steroids in combination with various other controversial and experimental treatments in an effort to prevent the potentially deadly end effect of the virus.

The steroid given to Trump during his stay in the hospital is known to cause some pretty serious, undesirable side effects — including but not limited to grandiose demeanor, increased agitation, depression, and anxiety, irritability, lack of impulse control, and inability to properly regulate one’s emotions.

Those sort of side effects in a dude that already pitches a Twitter tantrum like a jaded preteen on the daily and, well, there’s a serious problem.

And while no one within Trump’s administration is willing to see or acknowledge that — because they’re either terrified of him, beholden to him, or sick a hell with the coronavirus themselves, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has already had enough of the ‘roid-raging president and she’s looking to do something about it.

Earlier today, Pelosi told the press during a briefing to “come here tomorrow… We’re going to be talking about the 25th Amendment.” — An Amendment that allows the President to be replaced should he be unable to properly perform his duties for various reasons.

However, it looks like we won’t have to wait until tomorrow.

NBC’s Geoff Bennett reports, “Speaker Pelosi and Rep. Jamie Raskin to introduce the Commission on Presidential Capacity to Discharge the Powers and Duties of Office Act. It will create the process called for in the 25th Amendment to enable Congress to help ensure uninterrupted exec branch leadership.”

There’s even further information here:

Will it pass? Who knows. But boy, is it refreshing to see someone standing up to this nonsense.
