Nancy Pelosi Smacks Down Trump’s Letter, Refuses To Let Him Deliver SOTU Address In The House

This is so brilliant!

Donald Trump has been throwing a fit ever since House Speaker Nancy Pelosi encouraged him to reschedule his State of the Union address due to security concerns during his disastrous government shutdown.

The president has thrown a fit, humiliated beyond belief as his own supporters abandon him over the shutdown, and Pelosi and the Democrats continuously make him look like a fool over his border wall. In a foolish act of defiance, Trump had sent a letter to Pelosi to try and bully her into letting him do his speech. Trump said:

I look forward to seeing you on the evening on January 29th in the Chamber of the House of Representatives. It would be so very sad for our Country if the State of the Union were not delivered on time, on schedule, and very importantly, on location!”

Pelosi, however, wasn’t having it. In response to the child in the White House, the House speaker responded that she was NOT, under any circumstances, passing a resolution to let Trump do his SOTU address from the House chamber. At least, not until the government was reopened. Responding just hours after Trump said he was going to do his speech regardless, she gave his letter the ultimate smackdown. She said:

I am writing to inform you that the House of Representatives will not consider a concurrent resolution authorizing the president’s State of the Union address in the House chamber until government has opened.”

Pelosi continues to own Trump in the most elegant way, which drives him mad not only because she’s a woman but because he’s furious that he only continues to make himself look worse whenever he responds. Trump is used to being surrounded by “Yes” men in the Republican Party and he truly does not know how to handle this new Democratic leadership. Trump has been informed of Pelosi’s response, so I’m sure a temper tantrum is on the way.
